On Sunday the choir went to Princes Road Synagogue and sang Esah Ainai and We Are The Young. It was great. The synagogue was cool.

We are in the choir and we went to do a concert at Princes Road Synagogue. We sang Esah Ainai and We Are The Young. After that there was this man called Yaacov Shapiro and he sang lots of Yiddish songs. It was very hot in the synagogue.

Last night the choir sang in the Synagogue and we met Yacov Shapiro. In the concert he made us laugh a lot. Shall we tell you what he said .... we started to laugh at him, and then he said are "You laughing because I'm old. You'll be old someday". So that's it from us. We'll tell you more soon.

Last night the Choir sang at the Jewish synagogue. We were going to sing the two songs called Esah Ainai and We Are The Young. The ceiling was as high as a giant and the synagogue was beautifully decorated.

The concert was really good. We sang two songs that were called Esah Ainai and We Are The Young. Yaacov Shapiro was a man who survived in a concentration camp and moved to Israel. On Sunday 20th January he told us some poems and sung us some songs about his life. It was really interesting and wish we could go again. Thank you Miss Underwood and all the other teachers who helped in the event, and a special thank you to Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. Cowen, who helped us learn the songs.

At the synagogue we sang two songs (We are the Young and Esah Ainai). It was really fun, even though it stayed on until really late and I didn't understand some of the things they were saying!
